I found this image amongst my grandmother's papers.  I don't know much about it, except my grandmother and her mother admired Mrs. Roosevelt's work for women's rights.

This sweet photo was found at an antique store today.  I didn't have any cash, so just took a photo.  The back of the photo is in the same handwriting as those from Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.  Perhaps this young beauty is from the same location!

Update:  There is a Donald Gore who lived Jefferson County, WI.  He was born in 19 Nov 1931 according to his yearbook photo in ancestry.  I estimate Christine in the above photo to be born 1950's.  Nothing on her mother Beth.

Morrison Charles Miller: tribute to a cousin who died way too young!

In 2014 I was sent two boxes of old photos that belonged to my grandmother Gwen Shultz Rute's first cousin Virginia Miller Jackson.  Included in the treasure was this photo of a young Morrison Miller.  This was taken about 1905 in Eugene, Oregon.

Grandma Gwen's Uncle Ransom Miller and his wife Mae Morrison were the parents of little Morrison who was born 30 May 1905 in Eugene, Oregon.  He died 14 November of 1924 In Lane, Oregon. He belonged to Sigma Pi Tau at the University of Oregon.  He died during his Junior year in college.
